I am thrilled with my DaVinci ARTIQ vaporizer! It’s extended airpath and discreet cartridge ensure I enjoy a smooth and satisfying vapor experience. The haptic draw feedback feature is incredibly helpful too.

The Price
The DaVinci ARTIQ is available online for 59.99 dollars. It is more affordable than other DaVinci models, but the features are restricted. I purchased it immediately after its launch to test the new features that the company promised to provide.
Compatibility
The DaVinci ARTIQ is an advanced substitute for 510 batteries. It is compatible with 510 oil cartridges containing 0.25, 0.5, and 1.0 grams of concentrate. Though the manufacturer has tried to make it as versatile as possible, it supports cartridges with a diameter under 11.5 millimeters and a height of less than 63 millimeters.
The airflow system is compatible with bottom-to-top airflow cartridges. Unlike other DaVinci Tech products, the DaVinci ARTIQ is specially made for oil smoking. I used to smoke oil cartridges through 510 batteries, but this cartridge vaporizer is worth trying.
The body features
My DaVinci ARTIQ is in black ice color. It looks pretty decent and similar to the other DaVinci products. This product is also available in gray chill and blue glacier colors.
The company has retained the slim ergonomic design that lets you slip it inside your pocket. I liked the compact dimensions of 24 mm x 42 mm x 90 mm. I could easily hold this device in my hand due to its small size and lighter weight of 150 grams.
The integral parts of this device are the internal cartridge holder and the cooling air path. These components are concealed in a strong brushed aluminum shell that is metal tested for durability.
The concealed cartridge heating system makes it a discrete product that preserves the goodness of your smoking oils. There is intervention from the exterior, like the ultraviolet lights. The cartridge will not break because the aluminum shell absorbs the physical pressure to prevent breakage.
The elongated stainless steel and silicon path
The DaVinci ARTIQ contains an isolated vapor path twisted and elongated to cool the vapors effectively. The temperature of the vapors is reduced by 90 percent immediately after they leave the heating element.
I enjoyed every batch of well-cooked but cooled vapors from my DaVinci ARTIQ. According to the lab tests, the DaVinci ARTIQ Cartridge Vaporizer produces vapors at 84 Fahrenheit instead of 153 Fahrenheit (emitted by normal 510 batteries at the same voltage).
The vapor path is made of stainless steel and silicone. The silicon components are temperature-resistant and food-safe for added safety. My throat never received a red-hot batch of vapors, so this cooling system works better than most premium vaping devices.
The temperature settings and heating system
The heating system installed inside the DaVinci ARTIQ does not completely control, but it is at par with other 510 cartridge batteries.
The heat-up mode enables you to unclog the cartridge at 1.8 volts. I liked the ease with which you can change the temperature intensities.
Three heat modes heat the cartridge at 2.8, 3.2, and 3.6 volts (presented by blue, yellow, and red colors, respectively).
The heating time
The DaVinci ARTIQ heats the vapors immediately. My device took 10 seconds to preheat (which is better than the market standards). Other than this, the real heating time is just 3 seconds. Moreover, this device is draw-activated, so you do not need to press any button to initiate the heating process.
The potent battery
The battery life of the DaVinci ARTIQ impressed me more than any other feature. Installing a potent battery with an elongated air path and cartridge in such a slim shell is almost impossible.
The battery capacity is 760 mAh for longer usage. The battery is irremovable, so you cannot replace it. My DaVinci ARTIQ charged in around an hour.
The USB-C port is integrated at the base of the device, and the charging system is a passthrough to allow smoking while filling the battery. The battery lasts for approximately 500 draws. My device lasted more than an entire 0.5-gram cartridge.
The handling features
Handing the DaVinci ARTIQ is simple. It has a draw measurement indicator to provide a sufficient and precise batch of vapors. The manufacturer did not retain the popular LED grid from the preceding DaVinci models. Instead of the LED grid, there is an LED indicator (a small light) to communicate the status.
The heartbeat (haptic) feedback is my favorite feature due to the unique but soothing feeling while using the device. The DaVinci ARTIQ needs no button to operate because the heating system is draw-activated.
There is no mobile app connectivity to monitor the settings, but it would have been redundant anyway. The passthrough charging makes usage possible when the device is charging.
The warranty period
The DaVinci ARTIQ Cartridge Vaporizer’s body is heavy metal tested to ensure durability. Despite conducting such a test, the company provides a 1-year warranty. I don’t like the warranty period because previous models like IQ2 and IQC provided longer fault coverage.
A smaller warranty period usually implies that the manufacturer does not trust the build and components. It is too early to say something, but it is something that I am assuming.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is it a 510 battery?
Many initially thought the DaVinci ARTIQ was a 510 battery. It has voltage-based intensities, direct cartridge connection, and immediate heating time. However, this device is not a standard 510 battery because it has a cooling system similar to vaporizers.
The 510 batteries produce hot and rough vapors that irritate the throat. However, this is not the case with the DaVinci ARTIQ. Moreover, it is a slim and compact device that slides inside your pocket but is broader than other vape pens and batteries. All these features make it a cartridge vaporizer and not a 510 battery.
What kind of cartridge does it support?
The DaVinci ARTIQ has a concealed oil cartridge compartment. It is compatible with standard 510 cartridges. The diameter and height should be less than 11.5 millimeters and 63 millimeters, respectively.
Moreover, the airflow direction goes from the bottom of the cartridge to the top and onwards, so you should purchase bottom-to-top cartridges.
Can I use it while it is charging?
You can use the DaVinci ARTIQ Cartridge Vaporizer while it is charging. It houses a passthrough charging mechanism that enables it to function when the charger is connected. The charging port is at the device’s base, so you can conveniently hold it when the charging cable is connected.
Why is it cheaper than other DaVinci Tech products?
I initially had the same question because DaVinci Tech does not manufacture midrange products. The DaVinci ARTIQ is simpler than other devices because it lacks smart paths, mobile app connectivity, and an air adjustment dial.
Basic features are easy-to-use and affordable, so the company charges 59.99 dollars. The DaVinci ARTIQ Cartridge Vaporizer has better features and value for money when compared with other 510 batteries.
Does it come with an oil cartridge?
The DaVinci ARTIQ does not come with an oil cartridge. As I mentioned in the article, the box contains the device and other accessories, not the oil cartridge. You must purchase a 510 oil cartridge online. Many companies sell prefilled cartridges with different flavored oils.
Conclusion
The DaVinci ARTIQ impressed me more than any other 510 cartridge device I recently purchased. When smoking an oil cartridge, I did not feel any difference between vapors produced by the DaVinci ARTIQ and other DaVinci products.
It has an efficient cooling system that reduces the temperature of a well-cooked vapor batch to room temperature. I found handling the DaVinci ARTIQ very easy.
The temperature settings are simple to adjust. The manufacturer did not install a main LED grid, adjustable air dial, or smart paths, so this device differs from previous models.
The DaVinci ARTIQ Cartridge Vaporizer is an affordable device with an aluminum body. It looks classy and is durable enough to prevent the concealed cartridge chamber from breaking. You can purchase it online for just 59.99 dollars. It is hard to believe that DaVinci Tech has launched a product at such a low price, but it is what it is.
